Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has urged Tesla CEO Elon Musk to leave U.S. President Donald Trump and American politics.
Sani said Musk should reconcile and reconnect with his South African roots.
In a post on his X handle on Monday, Sani suggested that the tech billionaire should concentrate on his businesses, saying he should not get carried away by the cheering of supporters.
Musk had railed against Trump’s policy bill, leading to a public and ugly fight with the U.S. President earlier last month.
He said: “Elon should leave Trump and American politics, reconcile and reconnect with his South African roots. Elon should concentrate on his businesses and not get carried away by the cheering supporters in the comments section.
