A farmer identified as Malam Magaji Kankara has been allegedly killed by kidnappers shortly after being abducted in the Kankara local government area of Katsina State.

Security analyst Bakatsine shared the news on Tuesday in a post on X, saying the incident happened on Monday afternoon.

“ALERT: Yesterday afternoon, bandits killed Malam Magaji Kankara after abducting him from his farm in the outskirts, Katsina State. He was shot dead shortly after being taken. Sadly, such kidnappings happen almost daily in the area,” the post read.

The killing has raised fresh concerns over the worsening security situation in Kankara, an area that has witnessed numerous cases of kidnapping in recent months.
