The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has said that President Bola Tinubu has executed many projects for the people of South East more than past presidents.
He said based on that, the President deserves their total support in 2027, as appreciation.
Umahi, who said this on Monday while inspecting the progress of works on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Umuahia-Aba Section II of the 56.10:km Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, said that the road would be ready for inauguration in June 2025.
He said that the President had provided adequate funds for the road project as captured in the 2024 and 2025 budgets, saying that the remaining 2km earth work and 4km asphalt work would be completed by June and the road inaugurated.
“The entire South East must give Mr President 100% of their votes in the 2027 elections to appreciate him.
“I am the one that is fit to ask for your votes because he has used me to work for you.
“What happened before will not happen again. God was speaking but a lot of our Christian brothers would not hear,” said Umahi.
