Former Real Madrid assistant coach, Davide Ancelotti, has been appointed the new manager at Brazilian side, Botafogo.
Davide and Carlo Ancelotti left Real Madrid at the end of the 2024-2025 season with the older Ancelotti taking over the Brazil national team.
The younger one has now agreed to take up the role as new head coach at Botafogo, as Fabrizio Romano reported.
It is Ancelotti’s first job of his managerial career as Geglobo reports after being Carlo’s right hand at Real Madrid in recent years.
After being close to Rangers, Davide Ancelotti started his career at Fogão.
Meanwhile, Napoli has rejected Galatasaray’s €60 million offer to sign Victor Osimehn.
According to Fabricio, the Turkish side will return with a new proposal.
The club has already reached an agreement with Osimhen.
