Former Manchester United star, Paul Parker has told the club to replace Rasmus Hojlund with Ollie Watkins.
Parker does not want Hojlund to remain at Old Trafford beyond this summer as the Red Devils are seriously linked with Watkins.
He believes that the England striker could add more firepower to Ruben Amorim’s side after a disappointing 2024-25 campaign.
Parker, while speaking with Goal, responded to the question of if he wants the Red Devils to sign Watkins.
“I’d have to say yes. He’s honest, he’s a workaholic, and I’ve found it strange how players are playing in front of him at Aston Villa,” he told Goal.
He noted that apart from running the lines, the England international is very strong in the air.
It was not a season to forget for Hojlund at Manchester United after he joined them from Atalanta for £72 million in 2023.
The Red Devils are said to be interested in signing the Aston Villa striker if Hojlund, who is wanted by several Italian clubs, leaves.
