Colombian captain, James Rodríguez, has insisted that his fellow countryman, Luis Díaz made the right choice leaving Liverpool for Bayern Munich.
Recall that Diaz recently left the Reds to join Bayern Munich in a permanent transfer.
The 28-year-old made his debut for the Bundesliga champions in their friendly 2-1 win against Lyon on Saturday.
Speaking on Díaz’s move to Bayern, Rodríguez, who has also played for the German club in the past, said the forward will help Vincent Kompany’s side this new season.
“I think Luis Díaz made the right choice. Bayern signed a great player,” Rodríguez said via The TouchlineX.
“Lucho is a good fit for them. Bayern is a great club. I think he will help them a lot.”
Díaz will hope to lead Bayern to victory when they face Tottenham Hotspur this in a friendly tie on Thursday.
