Manchester United boss Rúben Amorim has revealed why Alejandro Garnacho is leaving the club this summer despite being so talented.
According to Amorim, things did not work out for the player under his management at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese said that though he cannot pinpoint exactly what the problem is, the Argentine forward wants to leave the club.
Chelsea are already pursuing Alejandro Garnacho deals as the player has insisted on remaining in the Premier League.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, reports that no talks yet between the Blues and Garnacho, but the Argentina International is on Chelsea’s list.
“Alejandro Gernacho is a talented boy… but sometimes things don’t work out,” Amorim told the BBC.
“You cannot explain specifically what it is. It’s clear he wants a different thing with a different leadership.”
Chelsea is pursuing both Xavi Simons from the German side, Leipzig, as well as Garnacho, and both players are keen on joining the club.
