N’Golo Kante could be on loan during the January transfer window, and Chelsea are looking to bring in a new midfielder this month, according to The Telegraph.

The 34-year-old player, who won six major trophies with Chelsea, such as the Premier League, Champions League, and Europa League, is now in his third year playing for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking to sign a new central midfielder this month. They have been talking to Juventus about a possible deal for Douglas Luiz.

Luiz is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, but he has only started five Premier League games this season.

The Telegraph says Chelsea are trying to bring in a midfielder who has already played in the Premier League and is talking about several possible choices.

The report says that Kante, who played for Chelsea for seven years, is available on loan for the rest of the season as he tries to get into Didier Deschamps’ France team for the World Cup this summer.

This week, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that Fenerbahce are getting close to signing Kante.

“They are trying to beat the interest from several Premier League clubs. Fenerbahce are really working hard to make the N’Golo Kante transfer with Al-Ittihad happen,” said Romano on his YouTube channel.

Fenerbahce are insisting. Why? Because they know that some Premier League clubs called the agents of N’Golo Kante over the weekend. Fenerbahce know that some English teams are trying to find out if there’s any chance or possibility of getting involved in the Kante transfer.

“So, Fenerbahce still believe the player wants to join them, that the player is eager to get this chance to move to Turkey and play for Fenerbahce,” he said.
