Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, has apologised to the team’s fans after they lost 3-1 to Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Haaland endured a difficult return to Norway, missing several chances to score.

Bodo/Glimt led 2-0 at halftime, thanks to two goals from Kasper Hogh.

They added a third goal through Jens Petter Hauge before the hour mark, when Ryan Cherki pulled one back with a deflected shot.

City now sits in seventh place in the league phase and could miss out on the top eight.

Haaland told TNT Sports, “I don’t have the answers.

“I take full responsibility for not scoring the goals I should have.

“I’m sorry to everyone, every Man City supporter and every fan who came to the game today. In the end, it was embarrassing.”
