Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has admitted that his team is at risk of not qualifying for the UEFA Champions League knock-out stage this term.
Guardiola’s side currently sits in the 22nd position on the Champions League table.
The Citizens have won only two out of their six matches in the Champions League so far this term.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League home clash with Everton, Guardiola warned that City may not advance to the next stage if they don’t win games
“Right now, we are at the risk of not qualifying for the Champions League… of course we are! Definitely we are,” Guardiola said.
“We have to get points and win games otherwise we will not qualify for the Champions League!”.
Man City’s next Champions League tie is against Paris Saint-Germain in January.
