Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara has hailed Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen following the Nigerian striker’s pivotal contribution to Galatasaray’s 3-2 triumph over Göztepe in the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen has maintained his remarkable start to the new league season by netting a penalty and assisting Sara’s goal, enabling Galatasaray to rally from behind and secure all three points at RAMS Park.
This victory marked Galatasaray’s third match in the Super Lig this season, with Osimhen already positioning himself as one of the top goalscorers in the league.
The Nigerian has now netted five goals in three league appearances.
His impact against Göztepe was particularly noteworthy, as he played a crucial role in the offensive play.
After assisting Sara in putting the hosts ahead, Osimhen later converted a penalty to extend Galatasaray’s lead.

The Brazilian midfielder disclosed that he had urged the Nigerian striker to take more shots, while also emphasising his tactical awareness on the field.
“I told Osimhen to shoot more. He is an astute player. He understands my movements. He provided the assist. I am happy to have scored,” he stated on the club’s official website.
