Super Falcons forward, Omorinsola Babajide, is determined to help the team conquer Africa again, Urban Express News reports.
Justine Madugu’s side has set their sights on reclaiming the title they lost to the Banyana Banyana of South Africa three years ago in Morocco.
Nigeria will face Tunisia, Botswana, and Algeria in Group B at the upcoming 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Babajide is among the 11 Super Falcons players who will be making their maiden appearance at the competition.
The former UD Tenerife striker revealed her mission ahead of the tournament, which will start this weekend in Morocco.
“My personal goal is to make my debut, and I wanna contribute as much as I can to the team’s winnings, goals, assists, and I really wanna win my first senior silverware,” Babajide told the Super Falcons media.
The Super Falcons will begin their quest for a 10th WAFCON title against Tunisia in Casablanca on Sunday.
