Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Ogunmodede says the team will go all out for victory in their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
The West Africans currently top Group D with 10 points from four games and need one point from their next two games to earn a spot in Morocco 2025.
Ogunmodede, who is also the head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Remo Stars declared that they will approach both games like a Cup final.
“Every match we want to approach it like a Cup final, we want to win all matches,” Ogunmodede said in an interview on NFF TV.
“I’m not aware we needed just one point to qualify so we just want to win regardless of the number of points left to qualify.
“First, the priority is for us to qualify, and secondly, according to the head coach, to win all games as they come and a maximum of three points is what is important to us.”
The Super Eagles will be away to the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in a matchday five encounter next week Thursday.
The three-time African champions will then round up their qualifying campaign with a home fixture against the Amavubi of Rwanda on Monday, November 14.
