Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu is delighted with the opportunity to work with the Super Eagles.
Ilechukwu was named one of the assistants to Super Eagles caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen on Monday.
His Remo Stars counterpart, Daniel Ogunmodede will serve as the other assistant.
It’s the second time Ilechukwu will be working with the national team following his stint with the U-23 Eagles.
“A call to serve Nigeria and an opportunity for more hard work, and we will never take this for granted. Thank you for the good wishes and the congratulatory messages. I’m humbled,” Ilechukwu wrote on X.
The 44-year-old arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Monday.
