The Zamfara State Governor’s wife, Huriyya Dauda Lawal has sympathized with the families of the Commander, State Community Protection Guard, CPG, Isah Aliyu Zurmi who was killed by bandits alongside two soldiers.
The commander and two other soldiers lost their lives in a gun duel with raving bandits in the area while trying to protect the community.
The Governor’s wife described deaths as inevitable, saying that the people paid the supreme price as heroes.
She prayed to Allah to give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Media and Communication to the office of the Governor’s wife, Zara’u Musa.
