Arsenal sporting director, Edu, has decided to leave the Premier League club.
According to Sky Sports, this decision has taken the Gunners by surprise.
It is understood that Edu is being considered for a role with Evangelos Marinakis’ group of clubs.
That currently includes Nottingham Forest, Olympiacos and Rio Ave.
It however, not clear if that is why Edu is leaving Arsenal.
The 42-year-old was appointed in 2019 and shares a strong bond with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, with whom he has rebuilt the team into title contenders.
