Respected British broadcaster, Henry Winter, is expecting a “great Premier League title race” between Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.
In a post on X, Winter hailed the Gunners’ recruitment so far.
Mikel Arteta finally landed a striker in Viktor Gyokeres, who made his debut in the 1-0 win over Manchester United and is set to hijack Tottenham’s move to sign Eberechi Eze.
Winter believes that Arsenal now has the squad to sustain a title challenge.
He wrote: “With Eberechi Eze incoming, and finally a No 9 recruited in Viktor Gyokeres (who still has to get up to speed), this has been a seriously good window for Arsenal.
“In quantity of quality, Arsenal now have the squad to sustain a challenge to Liverpool, who rightly remain favourites (talent, leaders, mindset, Salah).
“Manchester City will push both Arsenal and Liverpool.
“Could be a great @premierleague race. I’ve backed Liverpool fwiw.”
