Manchester City legend, Sergio Aguero, has said that Barcelona prodigy, Lamine Yamal is more talented than Real Madrid superstar, Vinicius Jr.
The former striker stated this after watching both players face each other in the La Liga on Saturday.
Barcelona, Aguero’s former club, thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu with Yamal scoring the third goal.
Yamal played his first game for Barcelona senior team in April 2023 and has seen a meteoric rise in popularity and footballing prowess since then.
The La Masia graduate has scored 13 goals and created 16 more in 65 games for Barcelona across competitions.
In an interview with Mundo Deportivo (via Stake) Aguero said, “In style of play, speaking of talent, Lamine has much more than Vinicius although Vinicius has more experience and is more of a player with titles won with Madrid.
“Vinicius is one of the ‘top 3’ in the world but for age and talent, I prefer Lamine more.
“If it were up to me, I would have one on each side of my team and let the opponent pray. It’s like when Messi and Neymar were together.”
