Arise Television’s Morning Show anchor, Rufai Oseni, has criticised Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, over his recent remarks following his return to office as governor.
Oseni suggested that Fubara has been bullied and subdued.
In a post on his X handle on Saturday, Oseni wrote: “Fubara is celebrating peace of the graveyard, after he has been bullied and subdued. Peace is better than war, he says, play back all his tapes for him.”
The statement comes after Governor Fubara, in a statewide broadcast on Friday, urged residents to reflect on the lessons of the six-month emergency rule imposed by President Bola Tinubu on the State.
The governor stated that “the costliest peace is cheaper than the cheapest war.”
Fubara further claimed that he cooperated with Tinubu’s government and resisted pressures to challenge the constitutionality of the emergency rule, thereby safeguarding peace, stability, and progress in the state.
