Chelsea forward Cole Palmer could be making a shock exit from Stamford Bridge, according to The Sun.

The England international is said to be feeling unsure about his future at Chelsea and might think about going back to Manchester City if Pep Guardiola leaves this summer.

Guardiola sanctioned Palmer’s exit from Man City in 2023, and Chelsea paid £40 million to sign him.

Palmer played 19 times in the league for City before heading to west London.

He started his time at Chelsea with huge energy and impact, and his first season was really impressive.

At just 23 years old, he scored 27 goals and provided 15 assists for his team.

That amazing form helped Palmer win several awards, including being named Chelsea Players’ Player of the Season, the Chelsea Player of the Season, the Premier League Young Player of the Season, and the PFA Fans’ Player of the Year.

Palmer’s amazing rise kept going that summer as he made a big difference at Euro 2024, even though he was not one of the key players under Gareth Southgate.

He scored England’s goal in their last match against Spain, which ended in a defeat.

There has been a small dip in his performance, partly because he has had more than one annoying injury problem.

Palmer has played in fewer than half of Chelsea’s league matches this season, and The Sun reports that he is not really happy in South London.

It is said that Palmer feels a bit unsure at Chelsea and misses home, as he was born and grew up in Manchester.

The Sun even says Palmer might be tempted to go back to Manchester City if his old Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, takes over from Guardiola.
