Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has given his verdict on attacking midfielder Joao Felix joining the Saudi Arabian club.
Recall that Felix recently joined Al Nassr from Chelsea this summer transfer window.
His career has plummeted in recent times, following his promising rise at Portuguese club Benfica.
The 25-year-old star joined Atletico Madrid back in 2019, but failed to live up to expectations.
He was later loaned out to Barcelona and Chelsea, respectively, before he joined the Blues on a permanent transfer.
After dropping out of favour under manager Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, Felix was sent out on loan to AC Milan in January of this year, before later joining Al Nassr.
However, Ronaldo believes his fellow countryman made the right decision to join him at Al Nassr.
“It was a better option for Joao Félix to go to Saudi Arabia than to play in the Portuguese league. He took the right decision,” Ronaldo was quoted by The TouchlineX as saying.
