Former presidential aide, Babafemi Ojudu, on Saturday, disclosed that voters risk being disenfranchised in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State.https://urbanexpresslive.com/world-cup-2026-why-ronaldos-legacy-will-be-spoiled-vieira-sends-message-to-portugal-coach/

Ojudu stated that 30 minutes after accreditation, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had not been able to capture his details due to equipment malfunction.

Posting on X, Ojudu noted that he was the first voter at his polling unit, but had experienced delayshttps://urbanexpresslive.com/benfica-vs-real-madrid-you-have-taken-wrong-direction-for-justifying-racial-abuse-seedorf-on-mourinho/

Stressing that the situation is unacceptable, the former presidential aide charged INEC to address the challenge immediately.

He wrote: “INEC, this is unacceptable. I am the first voter in my polling unit. Nearly 30 minutes into the accreditation process, your equipment has still failed to capture my details.

“If the very first voter requires 30 minutes, how many hours will it take to process hundreds of voters waiting patiently to exercise their democratic right?

“I hope this is an isolated incident and not a statewide malfunction. If not addressed immediately, this could disenfranchise many citizens and cast a shadow over an exercise that should inspire confidence and trust. INEC must act swiftly.”
